LATEX Workshop
Part of a scientific community but still use MS word for documentation? Fed up of the cumbersome process of writing complex equations in your assignments and projects? Latex is coming to the rescue!
LaTeX is a portable document formatting system based on TeX, a typesetting language designed especially for Maths & Science. It also provides an opportunity of creating your own commands to simplify and customize it. LaTeX is widely used in communication and publication of scientific documents and has a prominent role in the preparation and publication of books and articles.
For giving you the essence of such and many more benefits of this document preparation system, SCOSH is going to organize a workshop on 'Introduction to LaTeX'.
These are the topics that will be covered in the workshop:
1. Basic structure of latex document
2. Text formatting
3. Mathematical typsetting and equation writing
4. Paragraph setting
5. Tables and images
6. Bibliography
7. Chapter and sectioning
8. Code in latex
The workshop will be held at the AMHD Classroom.

REGISTRATION
The registrations will close on 29th August, 2018 (Wednesday), 5:30 pm. There are only 50 seats and the registration will be given on first come - first serve basis.
The selected participants will have to pay a nominal fee of Rs. 20/- to complete their registration, after they have been shortlisted.
