Intership seminar series -Working at the place where Edwin Hubble discovered the Big Bang By Mradumay Sadh

"To confine our attention to terrestrial matters would be to limit the human spirit." To distil these noted words of Stephen Hawking, our next speakerMradumay Sadh (Final year Physics student) will brief about Observational Astronomy & his work in Mount Wilson Observatory, USA in the upcoming session of Internship Seminar.

Located on the summit of Mount Wilson above Pasadena at an altitude of 5715 feet, is the place that where the celebrated Astronomer Edwin Hubble used a telescope mirror over eight feet wide (biggest one of that time) to make two prominent discoveries 100 years ago that fundamentally changed our definition of the universe. Mradumay will tell about his awe-inspiring experience & his project there and the details of CUREA program under which he interned. Also he'll discuss the essentials of observational Astronomy, telescope handling & acquiring data out of it.

We hope everybody grasp this opportunity to interact with him and admire the entities which lies above the horizon.
